Retiring IREMSC Staff:

Linda CallenderLinda Callender

Linda Callender started with IREMSC in April 1988.  That makes her the longest termed employee in IREMSC's history.  She started in the position of Admin Assistant to the Executive Director and moved into the postition of Office Manager in the 90's.  She decided to retire this year and "hit" the road with her motorhome named "Rosie" and her cat Gracie.  We want to thank her for her 27 years of service with IREMSC and wish her good luck and happy trails as she wonders the lower 48.

Tom Dean

Tom Dean started with IREMSC as the Tok Sub-Regional Coordinator in September, 1998.  He has assisted that region in establishing and maintaining ems services in the Alcan Border, Chicken, Dot Lake, Dry Creek,  Eagle, Mentasta, Northway and Slana.  His vision has encompassed establishing ALS ambulance servcie in each of those communities via their affiliation with Tok EMS and he worked diligently to acquire funding for vehicles and equipment in each community.  He is retiring at the end of this year and will head to the lower 48 for his retirement dream job- working on a ranch that stretches from North Dakota to Wyoming.  We wish him luck in his new adventure.
