AHA Instructors Network - ATLAS

To teach AHA courses, all new instructors must be registered and aligned with IREMSC in the American Heart Association's Instructor Network - ATLAS. This site also provides up-to-date and reference information on ECC programs and science. To register, go here: AHA Instructor Network - ATLAS.

You may contact IREMSC or any Training Center Faculty on this list to ask about setting up a monitored class for renewal. If you choose to be monitored by an IREMSC employee, please note that a monitoring fee will apply.

Your instructor certification is valid for 2 years. You may renew by completing one of the following for each discipline you need to renew:

Renewal Option 1:

Teach a minimum of four AHA courses within the two-year certification period.
Teach one IREMSC Training Center Faculty (TCF) monitored class within the two-year certification period. Your certification must still be valid at the time of the monitored class. Please note that IREMSC requires a minimum of one month's notice for coordination. Otherwise, you may reach out to a training faculty member directly.
